An Example of Protocol
I find it quite interesting that as time goes by, I seem to know less and not more. At a time in the past, I received a prophesy from a visiting minister that said “I understood the protocols of God.” God’s Protocols are very important to me. I was brought up a Roman Catholic and we learned our initial tenants of the faith through the catechism. The second question in the catechism is “Why Did God Make Me? ” The answer is “God Made Me To Know, Love And Serve Him In This World And To Spend Eternity With Him In The Next”. You may not consider this very convincing doctrine because of its source but I happen to think that this is truly an inspired answer. Many times in God’s way of doing or saying things, the order is critical. The order is first to know God, then to love God, then to serve Him. We seem to have the order reversed. Our focus is usually on serving Him. We run to and fro doing everything we can for God. We spend very little time getting to know Him and just a little time loving Him. We spend the majority of our time serving Him; most of which is of questionable value in God’s economy. We, therefore, need to understand the order of things is important to the Protocol of God. What comes first on any list of things in the scripture is probably the most important and that is why God put it first.Bob - Crushed Petals 09/04/2007
